We know the horror of Nazi concentration camps; why don't we know so much about this?
Seventy years ago this month, the Allied forces dropped thousands of bombs on the German city of Dresden. It’s an event that is usually glossed over or completely ignored when learning about World War II in history class, but this moving interview with a British survivor reminds us that the Allied forces committed gruesome atrocities too. Victor Gregg was a POW in Germany during the terrible attack, which he calls ‘evil’.
The interview is not only a reminder that history really is written by the winners, but gives a strong anti-war message that is more relevant in these turbulent times than ever.
