One of the biggest challenges a parent faces is to raise their children to be kind, caring, generous and considerate people. While it always doesn’t come out as one hopes, there are many parents who can say that they are proud of how their children turned out to be. Since everything can be shared online, stories of children’s kindness and compassion being shared by parents are nice to see. Recently, a father who is known as DJ James Fibble shared online his realization that he was successfully able to raise his son right.
Fibble’s son, 18-year-old Jacob, started working in a Clarks store and he received praise from his employer when a woman gave him a great review. This woman has an autistic daughter and was so appreciative of Jacob’s help with her daughter.
When the mother and daughter visited the shoe store, the girl had a sensory overload and the action of choosing what shoes she wanted became too overwhelming. Jacob, stepped in to assist her in such a kind and compassionate way. The mother was so humbled as to how Jacob acted that she gave him this review:

This is your 1st celebration alert for 2019 from a customer who emailed us to let us know that Jacob went above and beyond their expectations!

‘My daughter is autistic. She wanted to come in and try shoes but once in your store had a sensory overload. Jacob came over and really kindly asked if he could help to which I answer…”yes please”. He didn’t mention or acknowledge the situation but just sat in the floor and started talking to my daughter. He gently tried shoes on her and explained to her why they would feel different and in time they would soon feel ok. He sat patiently while she cried and I had to rock her and carried on when she was ready without any fuss and he didn’t once make us feel like we were taking too long or being a nuisance.’

When his father shared the review online, it went viral and even reached the mother who wrote it! She was glad to find out that Jacob got all the recognition he deserved.
