This week at the MTV Video Music Awards, Miley Cyrus blatantly said that elements within “the entertainment industry” intentionally manipulate the constant soap opera that exists between celebrities. Typically we would not pay any attention to this celebrity-driven soap opera, but it is a massive propaganda tool that the ruling class uses to keep people distracted, and it is important to point out the behind the scenes manipulations that many would write off as a “conspiracy theory.”
The admission was made during a possibly staged portion of the award ceremony when celebrity Nicki Minaj became confrontational with Cyrus over something that she had reportedly said about her “in the press.” Cyrus responded by saying “We’re all in this industry, we all do interview, and we all know how they manipulate sh**.”
Most media outlets promoted this petty beef between two celebrities while overlooking the blatant and obvious fact that it is common for elements within the entertainment industry to manipulate the information that is consumed by their customers. It is likely that the events that transpired were staged, but not necessarily entirely scripted, meaning that they are given a basic outline of how their portion is supposed to play out, and they are allowed to improvise with their own dialogue. And it is truly interesting that Cyrus chose to call out the entertainment industry in this way, if in fact she was speaking on her own and not acting.
With figures in the entertainment industry, it is nearly impossible to tell who has honest intentions, who is a mindless pawn, and who is actively helping to spread propaganda. Many assume that every single celebrity is a paid propagandist, and this may be true to some extent, but each celebrity seems to have different lines that they draw in the sand about just how far they will go, and just how long they will “play the game.” Sometimes, celebrities will come to understand the game that is being played around them, and while they may be morally opposed to it, they continue to play because they are already trapped. This is when they are faced with a choice, will they continue to push propaganda, or will they stand up and use their credibility as an insider, and whistleblower to speak out about what they have seen first-hand.
What else does Cyrus know about the entertainment industry? And will she ever choose to tell the world how deep the corruption goes?
Some say that she is one of the main propaganda pawns of the ruling class, while others say that she has had enough and is ready to rebel.
