Creepy ‘Liason’ Project Depicts Society’s Reliance On Technology [Photos]

There’s no shortage of artwork depicting the flaws of modern-society, and to be fair, the photos in this series aren’t incredibly unique. However, it might be argued that any reminder to take a break from technology – considering most people are suffocatingly dependant on it – is worth noting and sometimes passing on.

If you agree, look no further than the project titled ‘Liason’ which was created by artist Lubna Abdelaziz. She wrote on Bored Panda: 

“Liaison is a minimal surreal series of self portraits. We used window light and some red threads that reflect strong connection with mobile and social media.”

The artist’s intention is to show how technology can sometimes result in people losing the qualities which make us human. Controversial and creepy, the pictures and message are definitely worth contemplating…
