This is a great little video reminding us that we are not superior over any animals and that we don’t have any right to torture and/or enslave our fellow earthlings.
Speciesism is the use of species to exclude beings from the moral community based on species alone. We know animals feel pain in the same way and to the same degree. What we are doing to them os a moral atrocity.
It is like… racism or sexism where you have similar individuals. Some in the moral community and some excluded based on the basis of race or sex.
