Everyone was told the same massive lie when they were in government schools, the myth that if they got good grades and went to college, that their life would be amazing, and that they would have great jobs. Most of us have since learned that this lie is very different from reality, where a college diploma does not guarantee a job at all.
One Florida State University graduate is so frustrated with the situation that she has decided to sell her diploma on eBay. FSU graduate Stephanie Ritter recently put her diploma up for sale on eBay for $50,000 and said that she is still $40,000 in debt and has not been able to use the diploma to get a decent job. Oddly enough, Ritter also offers to give the purchaser of the diploma a glimpse into the college lifestyle, which consisted of mostly social situations that would be entirely possible without going to college.

Ritter is currently employed as a personal assistant in Los Angeles, but this is obviously a job that she could have gotten without wasting years in college and tens of thousands of dollars. If college actually did have a purpose at some time, that time is long gone, and people can now educate themselves on the internet without the propaganda, and can teach themselves the skills that they need to enter the workplace.
Diploma’s are not even very impressive to employers nowadays because many have found that a formal education does not always guarantee a good worker and a critical thinker. People who have a good attitude and an ability to think on their own are now in a much higher demand than people who have been able to sit through college classes and follow the orders of their teachers.
