Chris Evans Just Called Out David Duke On Twitter – And People Are Loving It

Chris Evans, along with Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, and Scarlett Johansson, is but one superhero actor who isn’t afraid to speak out about important issues in real-life. Not only has offered his insight on LGBTQ+ acceptance, he’s used his platform to fight racism in public and on Twitter.

In fact, he recently got in a ‘fight’ on the social media platform with David Duke, a U.S. white supremacist and former Imperial Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan. Evans, who is best known for portraying Steve Rogers in Captain Amerca, started the banter by commenting on Duke’s support of the confirmation of Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

The former KKK member wasn’t a fan of Evans’ comment, which is why he directed a series of tweets against the actor. In addition to accusing him of being a “dumb actor”, Duke stated that Evans supports “Jewish extremists.”

To that, Chris had the best reply:

Last Sunday, Duke decided to cherry-pick a few photos of Evans with non-Caucasian women and assert that the activist hates white women. As BuzzFeed points out, Captain America was created by two Jewish writers, Jack Kirby and Joe Simon.
