Earlier this year, plans for a bus that could literally drive over traffic jams were shared at the 19th China Beijing International High-Tech Expo. Though only a miniature model was presented, that didn’t stop the public from investing hope in the vision.
The long wait was worth it, it seems. Recently, a prototype of the Transit Elevated Bus made its debut in Qinhuangdao, Hebei. It was tested on only 300 meters but was deemed to be a success.
Now, the developers Jinchuang Corp are working hard to complete the bus within a year. Perhaps other cities will implement similar buses in the future to ensure passengers can make their appointments on time.
