60 pieces of handmade wooden elements can be combined to create various types of furniture.
Have you ever dreamt of being able to customize your living space at a moment’s notice? Such will soon be possible, thanks to Mindaugas Žilionis. The Lithuanian designer is responsible for creating SPYNDI, a multifunctional chair that can be turned into any shape.
According to the Kickstarter page, 60 handmade wooden elements can be combined in a variety of ways to create unique chairs, lounges, and tables.
The concept was reportedly inspired by the human spine and is made to be very flexible and strong. Plus, it can be modified to suit any sized individual.
The makers relay:
“SPYNDI is not just a piece of furniture. It turns into an interesting and joyful creative game while assembling new shape.”
Plenty of innovative inventions are hitting the market, and this item isn’t likely to disappoint. With 10 days to go on the crowdfunding site, SPYNDI has nearly doubled its goal.
