24-year-old Rebeca of Brazil works as an engineer – a profession predominantly dominated by males. In result, she doesn’t have many female friends. Though this bothered her slightly when planning her upcoming wedding, she quickly found a solution by calling on some good guy friends to help her out.
Rebecca told Bored Panda:
“I came up with the idea one week before the wedding. I was looking into some ‘making of’ pictures of brides with their gang of girls, all in robes, laughing, drinking champagne and all, and I got a bit sad because I wouldn’t be able to do anything like that.”
So, she invited her close guy friends and together, they participated in an epic photo shoot.
“The photoshoot was super fun. Everyone was taking shots of cheap booze and sometimes we were laughing so much that we had to take some time to recover and go on with the photos,” she said.
The student of computer engineering is one of four women in her class of 60 students. This acknowledged, it’s no surprise most of her friends are guys!
After posting the chuckle-inducing photos on social media, Rebecca received hoards of attention for the unconventional photo shoot. She says,
“I am very happy with the photos. Sometimes I look at then and find myself laughing like crazy. But I never imagined this would become so viral.”
