Did you know that this week is Random Acts of Kindness Week? One inspirational family have appeared on TV to ask all of us to do something nice for a stranger before the 17th October.
Brian and Wen lost their daughter Emily Grace in 2005. In 2012, still devastated, Wen wanted to find something positive in her terrible loss, and set up a website to pay forward positive, kind acts to strangers.
On the site, Wen explains: “We want this to become a part of daily life. If we each look for an opportunity to help and bless someone, every day, imagine the beautiful things that can happen!”
She is inviting people to take part and share their random acts, saying: “If you perform a RAK in Emily Grace’s memory, will you please share your story with others? We are so blessed reading all of these stories of love & kindness.”
