Tradition is something that most adults rarely question. We are brought up to accept the cultural norms of the society we are born into, and very few of us question what is considered ‘normal’ within this narrow perspective. Children, on the other hand, are still learning what is acceptable and what is not, and they often call into question some of the things their parents consider totally ethical.
This clip of an adorable little boy in Nepal is reminiscent of the viral video of the Brazilian toddler who refused to eat seafood. In Nepal, when people go to Temple, some of them take a goat or chicken to sacrifice. The three-year-old boy in the video is called Adrian, and it’s his first visit to the temple. He clearly loves his pet goat, and when he realizes what is going to happen next, he becomes so upset that he forces the adults around him to question their entire belief system.
