One of the worst things that a parent has to endure is watching their beloved child go through something painful and they can’t do anything about it. For this father, he had to experience his very own daughter’s fall down the rabbit hole of alcohol and drugs, in spite of attempting to help her as much as he could. Wistfully, her life ended in tragedy, but while her killer sat in jail, her father even petitioned to see him, all because he believes that there is a chance to turn the worst thing possible into something positive. A Young Claire Drury
Sisters Claire and Anna were the daughters of Stephen and Maria Drury. Unfortunately, the couple would break up in 1988, just 9 years after they were married. Stephen claimed, “Me and Claire’s mum separated when she was eight years old – she rejected Claire. Her mother had a relationship with another man and Claire went to live with her. But she soon asked to come back and live with me.”
