Feeling lost? Maybe it´s a good thing.
What do you want? Where are you going? Who are you, really? The late philosopher Alan Watts gives another thought-provoking lecture on these topics, asking why it is that we don´t know, why we try so hard to figure it out, what happens when we fight too hard to gain control, and how the only way to actually achieve anything is to surrender our desires and accept what is, with peace and trust.
When you feel lost, at a crossroads, or confused about your path, it´s not necessarily a bad thing. Having no specific goals is, according to Watts´s infinite wisdom, the only way you can find what you are looking for: “The more you give it away, the more it comes back.”
