AI Tried To Produce Inspirational Posters, And It Went Horribly Wrong

This is hilarious — and frightening.

While mankind has done a brilliant job creating hoards of memes and cat videos to satiate the masses, there’s still room for improvement. That’s where artificial intelligence comes in.

Recently, folks over at Nerdist decided to take advantage of a new AI called InspiroBot. According to its maker, the InspiroBot is “an artificial intelligence dedicated to generating unlimited amounts of unique inspirational quotes for endless enrichment of pointless human existence.”

Sounds pretty radical, right? As it turns out, the artificial intelligence is better suited to produce humorous content rather than inspirational posters. Instead of offering perky quotes with uplifting background images, the AI began making posters that are about as meaningful as a hollowed-out coconut. Some even took a sinister turn, as the following examples demonstrate.

Following are AI-created “inspirational” posters that went horribly wrong:

As it turns out, InspiroBot had a bit of a meltdown after being asked to produce too many inspirational posters. If you’re ready to be creeped out, read more hereWhat are your thoughts? Please comment below and share this news!
