Activist Gives Cats Bizarre ‘Likes’ And ‘Dislikes’ To Help Them Get Adopted

Because 2.7 million cats fail to find furrever homes each year, this individual partnered with a local shelter to craft unique biography cards for the felines.

Because prospective pet parents are more likely to adopt an animal if they feel an emotional bond to them, one activist has been helping an adoption center in Los Angeles create fun biography cards for cats. The individual, who goes by ‘Obvious Plant’ on Bored Panda and Instagram, wrote that he’s crafted funny and unique adoption cards for cats at the Sante D’Or Adoption Center because he’s upset by the reality that 2.7 million felines go unadopted each year.

“This is part of my ongoing project, Obvious Plant, in which I sneak funny signs into the real world,” they wrote.
