Meet Melanie Gaydos, an extraordinarily unique woman who is destroying fashion stereotypes one photoshoot at a time.

The American citizen is 28-years-old and has a genetic disorder called ectodermal dysplasia — a condition she’s suffered from since the day she was born. The condition prevents teeth, nails, pores, cartilage and bones from developing.

Like other models who don’t align with the status quo, Melanie is using her unique look to create art – in spite of the haters. She has been stigmatized all her life for her appearance but refuses to let the rare disorder prevent her from being a model. For this reason, she has been participating in photo shoots for the past four years and has no intention of stopping.
