If you had $20,000 to spare, what would you do with it? The group of Flat Earthers who are behind the new Netflix documentary called Behind the Curve have used this huge amount of money to try and prove that the earth is definitely flat.

Unfortunately, all their research and studies backfired on them and at the end, they accomplished the total opposite of what they wanted to prove.

The Space Academy reported on one of the Flat Earthers called Bob Knodel. Knodel is a host of a YouTube channel that dedicates all its videos in explaining everything about the Flat Earth Theory. Him and his team wanted to use a $20,000 laser gyroscope in order to prove that the earth is flat, but they never achieved this.

Knodel explains on the video:

“What we found is, when we turned on that gyroscope, we found that we were picking up a drift. A 15-degree per hour drift.”

“Now, obviously we were taken aback by that – ‘Wow, that’s kind of a problem.’

“We obviously were not willing to accept that, and so we started looking for easy to disprove it was actually registering the motion of the Earth.”

And this is because, maybe the scientific method can be taken in a subjective manner?

Knodel tells another Flat Earther: “We don’t want to blow this, you know? When you’ve got $20,000 in this freaking gyro.  If we dumped what we found right now, it would be bad? It would be bad.”

“What I just told you was confidential.”

Good luck to the rest of the theorists into proving that the earth is, definitely flat.
