5. Don’t Forget to Bring Insect Repellant
Make sure to bring enough insect repellant with you on your trip to Guatemala. Any tropical destination will always have different kinds of creepy-crawlies that are not only irritating, but are also dangerous if not taken seriously.
Mosquitoes in particular, have been known to carry the dangerous viruses such as the one that causes Dengue fever. To prevent being bitten, make sure to take extra precaution against these vectors by applying the right kind of repellant and wearing long-sleeved clothes, and pants whenever possible.
