Guatemala’s capita, Guatemala City, is subdivided into zones, and the most notorious of these is Zone 1. It is where most of the criminals in the city operate, hence is the most dangerous for tourists to visit. The area is also known to be a haven for drugs so try your best to avoid venturing into this zone at all costs.
