20+ Images Captured By Drones That Will Take your Breath Away

14. During a trip to India, Amos Chapple managed to capture some amazing shots such as this image of two wrestlers practicing the ancient Indian sport of Kushti in a pit they had hacked into the ground just two hours earlier.

15. From Amos Chapple’s collection of drone photography comes this thrilling image of the Basílica i Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família and the city of Barcelona, Spain.  The church was designed by Catalan Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí combining Gothic and curvilinear Art Nouveau forms, and together with six other Gaudí buildings in Barcelona, forms part of the la Sagrada Família. This complex is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which testifies “to Gaudí’s exceptional creative contribution to the development of architecture and building technology.”

16. This surreal drone image captured by Canadian photographer Andrew Szeto depicts an airplane 35ft underwater in Morrison Quarry, Canada.

17.  These ice-crusted statues in a park commemorating the fallen of World War II in Yakutsk, Russia is another stunning drone photograph from Amos Chapple’s collection.

18. Karagöl is the common name for a mountain chain, its highest summit, a nearby lake, the high plateau that surrounds it and also a summer settlement in Northeast Turkey. Karagol Lake is a crater lake on Karagöl Dağları and it takes its name from the mountain chain. Karagöl is a compound word “Kara” means “black” and “göl” means “lake.” This photo of the famed lake, taken by Michael Matti, is truly beautiful.

19.  Traces of nuclear radiation can still be found in these animals living in Norway, thirty years after the Chernobyl disaster in Ukraine. This drone photograph by Amos Chapple shows radioactive reindeer roaming near Snåsa.

20. This amazing picture of Cable Beach by Todd Kennedy won the 2nd prize in the Travel category for the annual Drones International Photography contest. Cable Beach is a 14 miles stretch of white sand beach on the eastern Indian Ocean in Western Australia.
