What do you do when a problem – such as plastic pollution – presents its ugly head at nearly every turn, but the majority of the populace doesn’t seem interested in changing?

If you’re a social worker with an artistic eye like this activist, you use peoples’ ignorance as a tool to raise awareness.

Bored Panda community member I Spy A Bag shared their work with the world to raise awareness about the Environmental Injustice taking place in New York – and elsewhere. By presenting images of plastic bags lazily floating around the populated city, they hoped that activists would be inspired to reduce their own waste and share the collection so others might think twice before they litter (or use plastic bags in general).
