When many people go away on holiday, they either find their pet a ‘sitter’ – someone who walks Fido and feeds him twice a day, or leave them an ample amount of food and water, as well as a living space to ‘roam’.
While this might be okay for some pets and their owners, it’s seen as an unacceptable arrangement by the caretaker of Loki.
The gorgeous husky/arctic wolf/malamute – who has his own Instagram account! – knows what it’s like to live with an owner who loves him like a best friend. As Loki’s Facebook page shares, the pair’s emotional bond is stronger than what many think of as species hierarchy, and as a result, Loki and his human travel many places together.
His owner explains it like this:
His and Loki’s relationship is an uncomplicated one.
The pair from Colorado enjoy their time together – out in the wild, where they belong.

“I saw @Ben_Moon’s #DenaliFilm, and it got me good. It also made me incredibly thankful for the powerful relationship that I’ve been given with this pup. Thanks for following our adventures and all the love!”
