It will happen to you: someone will walk in on you when you’re feeding your baby, and you will be embarrassed. Don’t be – it happens to all of us moms. Plus, they should have knocked.
11. WHEREVER I Go.
Remember how I said they’re going to want to be with you wherever you go?
12. I’ll Never Quite Get Used To This.
You think you finally have a handle on this all of mom stuff and then BOOM, they do something else to surprise you. Like climb on your head.
13. We’ve Learned New Tricks.
By “tricks” I mean ways to not disturb the peace when they are being good. Like not moving a muscle.
14. I’ll Take Sleep Where I Can Get It.
On the living room floor? Why not? In the bathroom? Sure. When you’re a mom, you can’t be too picky.
15. I Surender.
There’s no going back once you become a mom, so the best thing you can do for your emotional health is to just accept it.
16. People Tell Me It Will Get Easier.
It will, I promise you. And at the end of each day, when the only person they want to be with is you, it will make you forget about all the hardships you endured that day, and motivate you to get through the next.
Motherhood is HARD, and don’t let anybody else tell you differently. But honestly, it’s also the best thing in the world. To all you already-moms out there: you rock, and thank you for all that you do!
